Sombr at I-Days

SOMBR
The demand for great music shows no signs of slowing down, and today comes the news that another major international artist is ready to light up the stage at the next edition of Italy’s most famous and prestigious concert series: SOMBR, the most-streamed artist of 2026 on Spotify with his debut album “I Barely Know Her”, which has received worldwide acclaim and earned a GRAMMY® nomination.
SOMBR’s only Italian date of the YOU ARE THE REASON TOUR will take place at I-DAYS on Wednesday, July 14, 2027, at Ippodromo SNAI San Siro.
Tickets will be available through the artist’s dedicated presale page and the I-DAYS APP from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 2, through MY LIVE NATION from 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 3, and in general sale from 10:00 AM on Friday, September 4 via Ticketmaster, TicketOne and Vivaticket.
The I-DAYS 2027 lineup is beginning to take shape. While blink-182 will make their fourth career appearance at the festival, following their performances in 2000, 2010 and 2017, BRESH and SOMBR will make their highly anticipated I-DAYS debut on a stage that has welcomed some of the biggest international artists of the past 30 years.
Described by many as the heir apparent to the rock stars of Generation Z, SOMBR remains, in many ways, simply Shane Boose: the young artist who found his voice in a makeshift home studio in the Lower East Side and who, to this day, remains the sole songwriter and co-producer of his globally successful tracks.
The 21-year-old New York native taught himself music production, recording his songs at night while studying classical music and vocals at the prestigious LaGuardia High School. Today, through an engaging blend of arena pop, indie melancholy and glam charisma, he explores young love with an intense vulnerability and emotional depth that have resonated with audiences around the world.
In 2025, his hugely successful single “back to friends” reached No. 1 on both Spotify’s global and U.S. charts, broke into the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 7, dominated alternative radio, where it remained at No. 1 for five weeks, and is currently the No. 1 pop song in America.
His meteoric rise is also reflected in his headline tours across North America, the UK, Europe and Australia/New Zealand, which have sold out in record time and featured surprise appearances from artists including Sam Smith and Laufey.
SOMBR kicked off 2026 with a GRAMMY nomination for “Best New Artist”, following a year in which he took the stage at the MTV VMAs, where he performed and won the “Best Alternative” award, appeared as a guest on Fallon and Kimmel, and delivered an acrobatic performance on Saturday Night Live.
In August last year, he released his debut album, “I Barely Know Her”, co-produced by legendary producer Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, The Replacements). The album received near-unanimous critical acclaim, while three of its singles simultaneously charted on the Hot 100.
The young artist is now ready to return to Italy following his concert in Milan last February, a live show described by both critics and audiences as intense, intimate and energetic at the same time.
The tour announcement follows the release of his new single and video, “My Body Isn’t Ready”, a track that further establishes his position as one of the most exciting new voices in the pop landscape.
On the emotionally charged track, the artist confronts his own struggles with self-esteem and insecurity, embracing the raw vulnerability that has become a defining element of his songwriting.
