The I-DAYS 2027 lineup is getting even bigger with the addition of another major international name: FONTAINES D.C. The Irish band will take the stage at Ippodromo SNAI San Siro on June 19, 2027, joining the first artists already announced for the next edition of Milan’s leading concert series.

Following the announcement of blink-182 — who will make their fourth career appearance at the festival, after performing in 2000, 2010 and 2017 — as well as BRESH and SOMBR, both making their I-DAYS debut on a stage that has welcomed some of the biggest international artists of the past 30 years, FONTAINES D.C. now join the lineup as one of the most acclaimed bands on the international alternative scene.

Tickets will be available through COMCERTO FAMILY, MY LIVE NATION, the I-DAYS APP and the artist presale from 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 10, with general sale starting at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 11 via Ticketmaster, TicketOne and Vivaticket.

Following the sold-out show at Bologna’s Unipol Arena on October 26, with tickets selling out within just a few hours, FONTAINES D.C. — Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll — are reaffirming their strong connection with Italian audiences and preparing to return to the country to perform songs from “Dopamine Chamber”, the band’s new album, due for release on October 16 via XL Recordings.

Produced by James Ford, their fifth album, “Dopamine Chamber”, follows 2024’s “Romance”, a Platinum-certified album in the UK, and marks another evolution in the band’s artistic journey. The band decisively moves away from the guitar-driven language of their early work, embracing a more seductive and refined sonic dimension than ever before. Preceded by the first single “Marianne”, the album unfolds as a constellation of suspended atmospheres, moving between powerful ballads and melodies that emerge from the darkness.

Following “Dogrel” (2019), “A Hero’s Death” (2020), “Skinty Fia” (2022), which reached No. 1 in both the UK and Ireland, and the anarchic, kaleidoscopic “Romance” (2024), the band continues to push its boundaries with “Dopamine Chamber” — an album that represents their most radical shift yet.
